Yes, it is possible for Colobridge customers. Dedicated server solutions are best suited for creating private clouds. Rent the required number of ports to build a distributed network for the cluster. If necessary, we provide Fiber Channel (FC) as a dedicated data transmission channel. For storing large amounts of data, customers can utilize Software-Defined Storage (SDS).

Colobridge, recognized as a Microsoft partner under the Services Provider License Agreement (SPLA), facilitates monthly licensing of Microsoft products. This agreement adheres to the necessary requirements for hosting software services and applications on behalf of our customers. The SPLA framework supports a diverse range of software deployment scenarios, allowing us to provide tailored and dependable solutions based on the specific business needs of our customers.
If you require a dedicated server bundled with licensed software, Colobridge offers the necessary software products for rent, presenting a cost-effective alternative to expensive licenses.

Note: Microsoft licensing conditions are subject to specific terms and conditions, and Colobridge ensures compliance with all relevant regulations. This includes the transferability of previously purchased licenses to the servers utilized by the client within the Dedicated and Private Cloud environments.

Customers can delegate typical and complex IT infrastructure support tasks to the Colobridge team. All Colobridge services, including dedicated servers for rent, come with a fundamental support level to ensure high-quality and availability. Additional services can be ordered, encompassing the administration of operating systems, applications, and hardware support provided by the Colobridge team.

In case of hardware failure, Colobridge technicians swiftly replace the faulty component from the replacement stock in the provider’s warehouse located in the data center. If the hardware is under warranty, the vendor dispatches a new component within the specified time frame outlined in the support contract, and the defective part is returned to the vendor. The provider takes responsibility for addressing various hardware issues, including natural wear and tear, malfunctions, and preemptive measures in case of suspected hardware failures.

The Colobridge team facilitates access to the management network of your servers through VPN. Presently, all servers rented by dedicated customers come equipped with remote console tools such as Supermicro IPMI, HPE iLO, or Dell iDrac, depending on the manufacturer.

Colobridge customers lease dedicated servers in Germany that are de facto situated in Telehouse Frankfurt (Tier III) and Equinix FR4 (Tier III+) data centres. These data centres boast a fully uninterrupted power source and a robust cooling infrastructure to prevent server shutdowns due to power outages or overheating.

They hold certifications such as ISO 9001 for Management Quality, ISO/IEC 27001 for Information Security Management, ISAE3402 / SSAE16 Type 2 Audit of Service Management, and PCI-DSS for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. Telehouse, operational since 2012, spans 25,000 m², making it one of Germany’s largest data centres. Equinix, with over 20 years of history, serves notable clients like Netflix, Zoom, Lufthansa, Tele2, and Cisco.

The Colobridge platform adheres to the best global practices in data protection and complies with all relevant security requirements. We take responsibility for physical security, network protection, and customer network delineation. Additionally, hardware protection and safety are ensured by local legislation, which applies to all data centres operating under German jurisdiction.

Colobridge customers can rent a physical server hosting with any configuration currently available on the market. However, our technical experts recommend opting for configurations that offer the best value for money to optimize costs and the time required for assembly and delivery of hardware.
